Direct Flight Options to Sochi (Summer 2026 Update)
Getting to Sochi from the GCC region has never been easier. Please note the following confirmed and planned direct routes for the 2026 summer season:
- Saudi Arabia (KSA): Regular flights operated by Azimuth Airlines are scheduled to commence on May 20, 2026.
- United Arab Emirates (UAE):
- Sharjah: Direct flights from Sharjah (SHJ) via Air Arabia will be available starting in late June.
- Abu Dhabi: Etihad Airways flights from Abu Dhabi (AUH) have been rescheduled and are now expected to begin on June 15, 2026.
- Oman: Starting July 2, 2026, Oman Air begins its weekly, year-round direct service from Muscat (MCT).
- Kuwait: Jazeera Airways is on track to launch its Sochi flight program starting June 24, 2026.
- Bahrain: Direct flights via Red Wings are tentatively planned for April 26, 2026 (pending final airspace approvals).
Connecting Flights to Sochi
If a direct route is not available on your preferred date, many international travelers choose to fly via Moscow (SVO, DME, VKO) or St. Petersburg (LED). From there, you can easily connect to frequent domestic flights to Sochi operated by Aeroflot, Pobeda, S7 Airlines, Utair, and more air carriers.
